A viera who left the jungle in pursuit of art. She is a traveling artist based in Ishgard and a caretaker of the Brume's orphans. Being a mother herself, she does her best to care for those around her. For the most part, Misia's paintings are watercolor dreamscapes that while unpopular in Ishgard's more classical art market, feel ripped right from a fairytale and is quite popular with the young children she cares for.

RP HOOKS.

  • A Traveling Artist: Misia often ventures from town to town to either paint the scenery or simply enjoy the sights around her. Sometimes she pulls out her sketchbook and starts drawing if left unbothered for long enough. If she is in a good mood, maybe she will even sketch you if asked politely.

  • Watercolor dreamscapes: While not a well-known artist, she is notable for the kind of works she creates. Children and younger women seem to love the watercolor wonders she makes, citing they come right out of fairytales or their own dreams. Some might even find these paintings oddly familiar.

  • The Firmament: Misia’s little brother Astra is one of the craftsmen who helped with the Firmament, which eventually led to her staying in his old “home.” If asked about it, she will talk about her brother’s talents at length, gleefully shilling him as the best artisan she knows.

  • Brume Caretaker: Ever the diligent caretaker, Misia does her best to support the children under her wing. Those under her care enjoy free art lessons along with general food, shelter, and warm clothes and the children regard her highly... Though usually refer to her as "Missy" or "Miss Mimi" instead of her actual name.

  • Arcanist Guild Specific: There was apparently an incident nearly a year ago where a Rava Viera newly arrived from Othard summoned something other than a carbuncle. Those with Aethersight can occasionally see something following Misia.

REED ASTRAPIA.
Misia's biological son who, similar to his mother, left his village in order to find her. She cares for him unconditionally and always speaks fondly of him, even if he is a a rather troublesome and reckless boy.ASTRA ALTAVIS.
Misia's younger brother who she similarly cares for dearly. Though they are not actually related in any way, the pair of artisans are close... Though Misia is a bit too protective of him at times.CALYPSO ALTAVIS.
Misia's sister-in-law. When the mood hits her, or if asked by her, Misia goes out of her way to help her with her odd jobs. While Misia thinks fondly of her, she is a bit closer to her sister Evelynn.EVELYNN ELYSIUM.
Misia's sister-in-law who she is a bit closer to. She finds her cheerfulness and good nature to be infectious and hopes that it will rub off on her if she spends more time with her.SAY'RI VALFLAME.
Another Rava Viera that Misia will tell you she is unfortunately familiar with. She would hardly call them acquaintances or friends, but Say'ri has essentially taken the girl under her wing.

The rogue who won over her heart. While she had not intended to fall in love with him after she gave him a home in Ishgard, she was glad she did. With that said though, Misia tends to get flustered regarding him.SIGRID BIERMANN.
Bartender of The Outpost and one of Misia's first friends upon moving to Ishgard. She thinks highly of Sigrid due to her helping Misia find her place in the city. Misia considers Sigrid to be her best friend.CAELVIR AUVYRAE.
Misia's other best friend. Despite how seemingly different the two are, they get along well. She considers him one of her closest friends. With that said, she seems oddly protective of him.YNALI'WO RABNTAH.
Owner of Sage and Secrets and another friend of Misia's. While not as close to him as her other friends, she does generally respect him and listens to his advice.

  • The forget-me-not flowers in her hair are very real but seemingly never wilt.

  • Her favorite foods are sweets and oranges and she dislikes most alcoholic drinks.

  • Shorter than your average Viera. Her heels make her seem on par with the shortest of them by adding an extra 3 inches to her height which makes her appear 5'10.

  • Misia actually changes how she acts around characters who she can tell or has an inkling are either younger or older than her, either acting more mature and maternal or more "her age" given that she is still rather young for a Viera.
